When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of the storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark.Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone.

We try to do our best as healthcare providers. But, in many situations, it is “the other stuff” that gets in the way of the best care for the patients. In my experience, groups like “You’ll Never Walk Alone” fill this void with both compassionate and practical solutions. I look forward to all the great help YNWA will provide this community. Thank you for all you do!

Fight Like a Girl
You fight like a girl is a punch line often used by guys to make fun of one another. But for a Mitchell mother, fighting like a girl takes on a much more personal meaning.
"I know there are people out there who don't have anyone around when they are diagnosed. If their families are far away or siblings can't get off work to take them to chemo. I just thought this is my way to give back,"
